This one is for...

All you Super Smash Bros fans out there....

Here's a pretty funny trailer of the new game.

This week is E3, which is an electronic gaming convention and so all the major companies have been showing off their latest and greatest. So far, from what I've been reading, Nintendo has been kicking butt...so we'll see if the Wii is really as good as they say it is.

For those of you that know me, I'm not the biggest gamer (I only enjoy playing short fun games), but keeping up with this stuff gives me things to do at work, and you never know when it'll come in handy for YAC...hahahaha..

This I thought was pretty interesting

Here's a screenshot from the new video game, Left Behind: Eternal Forces. Yup, you read right. It's a video game based on the Left Behind series. The is a real time strategy game where you join the ultimate fight of Good against Evil, commanding Tribulation Forces or the Global Community Peacekeepers, and uncover the truth about the worldwide disappearances!

· Lead the Tribulation Force from the book series , including Rayford, Chloe, Buck and Bruce against Nicolae Carpathia – the AntiChrist.

· Conduct physical & spiritual warfare : using the power of prayer to strengthen your troops in combat and wield modern military weaponry throughout the game world.

· Recover ancient scriptures and witness spectacular Angelic and Demonic activity as a direct consequence of your choices.

· Command your forces through intense battles across a breathtaking, authentic depiction of New York City .

· Control more than 30 units types - from Prayer Warrior and Hellraiser to Spies, Special Forces and Battle Tanks!

· Enjoy a robust single player experience across dozens of New York City maps in Story Mode – fighting in China Town , SoHo , Uptown and more!

· Play multiplayer games as Tribulation Force or the AntiChrist's Global Community Peacekeepers with up to eight players via LAN or over the internet!

This video game has actually gotten pretty good reviews from some critics at E3. I kinda want to buy it to check it out. Click the pic for a short review from the Kotaku guys.

There's my nerd news for the day....have a great weekend everyone!!

Sweet...today I get go out for lunch with my co-workers.....I love corporate lunches....they are always paid for...hahahahaha!
